Joan Jett, Sammy Hagar, Bette Midler and Charlie Puth have been tapped as Battle Round advisers for The Voice season 11, according to US Weekly.

Joan Jett, 70’s rock n’ roll icon (Bad Reputation, I Love Rock n’ Roll) will advise newbie coach Miley Cyrus. An “inspiration” and “what Superwoman really should be” is how Miley described Joan when she inducted her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year. The other new coach on the panel, Alicia Keys will be aided by pop singer songwriter, Charlie Puth (Marvin Gaye, See You Again.)

Another 70’s rock performer, Sammy Hagar will lend a hand to Adam Levine during the Battles.  “Adam loves inviting rockers he admires,” The Voice source told US. “He’s a big fan of classic rock.” Last year, the Maroon 5 frontman and former Van Halen singer spent time together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where they performed an AC/DC duet at Hagar’s bar, Cabo Wabo Cantina, in January 2016. And last but not least, Blake Shelton has tapped the legendary Bette Midler to get his team in shape for the Battles.

NBC’s The Voice returns for season 11 on Monday, September 19. The network will also be airing a special preview episode following the Closing Ceremony of the Rio Olympic Games on Sunday, August 21.
