Simon Cowell: Drunk Tweeting From A Plane! (HILARIOUS)

Simon Cowell spent the better part of this afternoon rambling on twitter from 35,000 feet in the air, as he flew from London to Los Angeles for next week’s X Factor premiere.

Not only did we get a play by play of his afternoon tea (“a cup of tea and a crunchie…delicious!), we also know he thinks the movie, Mr. Poppers Penguins is BRILLIANT. But damn…I wanted to know if he enjoyed Garfield 2!  And yes, he’s still really really really REALLY mad at NBC!

Oh, and he couldn’t get his bud, Ryan Seacrest, front row tickets to the X Factor premiere at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater  (or Chinese Man theater as he calls it!) in LA on Monday?  Some friend!

If the Gods are on our side, now that Simon has “gotten the hang of twitter” he’ll be as hilarious a tweeter at his “pal” Nigel Lythgoe.

    Can’t Simon just buy American Idol and be the judge over there again. He made judging interesting.

    I’m wondering,how can they put a mic on the contestants who were still outside the audition?? Are they a plant?? Or everyone who auditions got a mic on their clothes to catch their conversation???

    I LOVE how Demi doesn’t seem at all afraid or intimidated to stand up to Simon. I think that now, I’m more looking forward to her as a judge than Britney.

    lol I think that it’s the combination of alcohol and the reduced cabin pressure that’s affecting Simon most. Like drinking at a high altitude.

    That was hilarious, although Simon “drunk” tweeting for 6 hours sounds like an attempt at publicity. It doesn’t matter. I’ll still be watching X Factor!

    Probably a stunt but this is the 1st time I’ve found Simon entertaining since, gosh, I don’t even remember. Probably since the time he was gaping at Fantasia during her performance of Bore Me. Thanks for posting MJ!

    lol Oh yeah, I have a feeling that Simon is way too much of a control freak (even “tipsy” – Who TF uses that word any more? lol ) to really do something like this without knowing what he’s doing.

    I don’t even know the girl very well (apart from she’s young and a singer..?) but I’m actually gonna give US XF a chance this year only because of her. She seems really fun.

    I don’t know that I’m tempted enough to watch XF, but I will say my teen daughter and I watched Demi when she was the star of Sonny With A Chance and I felt her to be a budding comic genius.  She was remarkable.  That show stinks without her (it’s now called So Random and don’t bother to watch if you.

    I’m glad to know she’s making such a great comeback since she needed her break…
