“I think Vote for the Worst should get involved here.” And…they will, LOL!!!

  • Incipit

Good grief. They really are just hamsters to TPTB. The Creative Process by Committee? May as well have wind-up dolls performing. Not enough that the clueless judgementors mess around with their futures, let’s get the possibly even more clueless audience in on the act….because that’s gonna show us who the contestants ‘really’ are. NOT.

  • RustySax

Crappy song choices for everyone, IMHO.

  • Incipit

    Crappy song choices for everyone,

Yeah, that’s probably a given, RustySax – the dice are pre-loaded. Participants in this gimmick are choosing from just two songs that the Producers already selected. Given their choices so far, that doesn’t leave much room for change.

Unless there is an option of “none of the above” – Heh.

At least they caught on that the TV audience isn’t connecting much with their manipulated products…so they create the illusion of investment for the public, by allowing them to join in the manipulation? SMH.

A press release about X Factor from Purchase, NY is fitting.

Oh boy! Huge potential for major trainwrecks next week. lol

    I chose:
Carly – If I Were a Boy. Wasn’t into Your Song for Carly and didn’t know the other.
CeCe – Part of Me. I think the Kesha song will be done cuz she’s performing on results and releasing an album. Cross-promotion-Op!
Diamond – Diamonds. Seems fitting and she likes ballads. Plus, it’s current.
Emblem3 – Forever Young. I know it’s not the Forever Young by Alphaville, but I really dislike I Gotta Feeling and didn’t know the other one.
5Harmony – What Makes You Beautiful. If they nail it, they may beat Emblem3.
Tate Stevens – If Tomorrow Never Comes. I know the fans will vote The Dance, but I think Tomorrow is a better song for Tate.

Could they pick any slower songs for Carly to sing?
I get that she is the best vocalist in the competition
but for me, I am bored by her. Would like to see her do an upbeat song,
because even singers like Celine and Whitney they have upbeat songs and ballads on their albums, not just slow ballads.
So out of the choices I would pick If I were a Boy for Carly

For Cece I would personally pick So What but I don’t know if she would be able to pull it off, so my second choice would be Part of Me, as she has done a cover of this song before and she’d probably be in her zone.

I would like to see Diamond take on Kiss From a Rose
For Emblem 3 it would be Marry You, which I could see this song taking them to number 1.
Fifth Harmony would be What Makes You Beautiful, although I don’t know if that would be a win or lose for them but it would be fun to see them sing something upbeat.
For Tate, I could care less what he’d sing, but I’ll say She’s Country, cause I actually like that song and it would be nice getting him to sing upbeat songs instead of the country ballads he had been doing.

Carly – Since all of them are slow songs. I Just Can’t Stop Loving You. Could do a justice version of it. She could do it. This isn’t very common either. The other two have been done to death.

CeCe – All of those songs are some what similar. So Part of Me as she’s probably comfortable with it.

Diamond – It has to be Diamonds LOL. So appropriate. It’s an interesting song choice as well. This would have been such a good song choice for Beatrice!
This is Diamonds by Rihanna right?

Emblem3 – All crap choices. There is no covers that suits Emblem3 except Sublime. Cos they are those kinds of artists. At least Forever Young sounds like a Californian rockers ballad. So I went for that. Screw 1D comparisons. Forever Young is so iconic. It doesn’t belong to 1D.

Tate Stevens – He needs a moment and an endearing performance. I mean She’s Country needs to be superb otherwise it just comes off mediocre. For a man who loves his wife so much… I think the lyrics well hinder his performance. So The Dance. The other one has no ‘moment’ quality.

Fifth Harmony – Anything Could Happen is that Ellie Goulding?
I chose that one. Cos the other two I don’t want. There is some good harmony in that song and it’s slightly different. The last thing this group needs is another generic pop song to cover that is chorus heavy and all harmony is chucked out the window. If they slow down Give Your Heart A Break a slow rendition with a realy focus on harmony it could stand out.

    What I voted:

Carly-If I were a boy. I wouldn’t be mad if she ended up with Your Song though. She could do the Ellie Goulding one.Tate-If Tomorrow Never Comes.  Because I want to sabotage the hell outta him.
Diamond-Diamonds. Because it is in her name and it is the only relevant song in her list. The rest are oldies. She needs relevant songs. I don’t like the Rihanna song, but I want her to have it so she can go modern. It will help with votes as well.
Douchebag3-Marry You- So I can laugh at all the delusional little girls that think they are going to marry them.Fifth Harmony-Anything Could Happen. It’s not generic like all the other songs they have had. It sounds unique and it could also give them a real good moment.
CeCe-Die Young. I personally wouldn’t be mad at all if she got the other two on the list. CeCe has the best list out of everyone. I picked Die Young because of how brand new it is. There hasn’t been many people have covered it. CeCe could do something brand new with the song. She just might survive this upcoming week.

    1. Diamond and Tate have the weakest list out of everybody. I think Diamond will leave this week.

I chose Marry You for Emblem3 – by Bruno Mars- It is an upbeat song and fun! The song suit the voice of the Emblem3. With Wesley as group lead singer I think Wesley voice will add pizzaz to the whole song plus playing with guitar, if they do include it.

    Carly-If I were A Boy

    CECE- Part of Me

    Diamond– Kiss From A Rose

Fifth Harmony- What Make You Beautiful

Tate Steven– The Dance–Garth Brooks– Reminds me of Scotty M.
