Hmm… I guess this will be The Voice’s natural pattern. Ratings will stay higher during segments that focus on judge interaction, but start drifting down after the first week it turns to the contestants? I guess we’ll see over the next few weeks. But that’s basically how its worked for 3 seasons now, I think.

It’s still number one in the demo on its nights so I think the show fine either way.

I can’t understand why. Last night episode was pretty good.

  • OffLeash

It’s because last week’s episode sucked, which had some people give up on the show. That’s why they lost viewers this week. Most of them won’t come back, but maybe some will tune in for the finale.

Well how were the viewers supposed to know if they weren’t watching? Ratings are always a reflection of the previous episode and last weeks episode was very weak.

  • kcostell

Last week’s show was so bad that large numbers of people were actually turning off mid-show (the 9pm hour half hour rated 0.4 higher in the demo and had a million more viewers than the 9:30pm half hour).  At least this week the during-show trend is in the right direction.

Yep. and it shows a possibility of recovery for the next week.

Sigh, I wish someone would explain the appeal of DWTS. I’m in the right “demo” to be watching, but just cannot get interested when I barely know who some of the “stars” are.

If The Voice took a dip because last weeks show was bad, I shiver to think whats going to happen to The X Factors ratings this week! HAH!

  • fantoo1

It won’t help that it’s going to be on the night before Thanksgiving-I expect the results to look really bad.

    Uh oh…LOL ;0

  • girlygirltoo

Weren’t The Voice’s ratings down last week as well?

  • mileyfan123

The talent on the voice is very poor. I am not surprised.

I love Dancing with the Stars and I would rather watch it that The Voice.  I don’t know why but when I first saw The Voice in the first season, it didn’t click with me.  I liked the auditions but after that I wasn’t feeling it.

I like Dancing with the Stars because I love watching Ballroom dance and watching someone who has little to no dance experience learn.  So fun and entertaining. :)

I’m in my mid-twenties, too. I don’t think that matters but yeah.
