Five milestones this week on the radio charts – 4 from the UK.

American Idol Season 11 contestant Colton Dixon came in 7th before making a career for himself in Christian music. Colton’s latest single is “All That Matters” is the debut for his upcoming “Identity” album. This week, it arrived on the CAC chart in the top 50.

From Britain’s Got Talent, we have Calum Scott. On the show, he performed a well regarded cover of “Dancing on My Own” which has been building support on this side of the Atlantic. The song is already top 15 on AC and top 40 on Pop. Now it is top 30 on HAC.

Also from the UK is X-Factor’s Niall Horan. He is working his debut single from his TBA album. “This Town” went top 30 on AC this week. It is already top 15 on Pop and HAC.

Finally, we have an X-Factor UK winner – James Arthur. His “Say You Won’t Go” achieves two milestones this week. It went top 20 on HAC and top 40 on AAA. It is also top 50 on Pop.

La’Porsha Renae, the last runner-up on Idol, has been flirting with top 15 on UAC. This week her “Good Woman” returns to the top 15.

Billboard reports that the top debut this week is from The xx at number 2.
