Kris Allen covered one of MY favorite Radiohead songs, “High and Dry”, in Seattle Sunday night (Feb 17), and I am not displeased!

    I forgot to say how much I enjoyed this cover.
    I don’t know this song before, and at first, I thought it was just a slow song, but then it builds and builds and Kris’ voice is great in this.

    I think Kris needs to sing different covers to “keep him and the band on their toes”, he even changed some of the set list with different songs from his 1th album KATA.

    I’m just happy to have so many videos of Kris singing different songs.

    I didn’t know that the song “The Land of Smiles” was inspired by his trip to Thailand. Having visited Bangkok last month, I understand why he was inspired by the country. The people there are warm and accommodating. Always smiling – like my country ;)

    Always so good. I was excited to hear this because when Kris was a guest on the Celebrity Playlist Podcast back in 2009, he picked Radiohead’s “High And Dry” as one of the songs on his playlist.     Wow – I am amazed at how well Kris & the band do these request songs with very little practice. This one sounds great- PA will always be my favourite Radiohead song Kris has done but this is a good 2nd.
