Oh look. Check out this new song co-write for Kris Allen, Matt Cardle and Andrew Frampton at BMI. This co-write, “Raise Your Hand”, is of particular interest because Matt Cardle is the winner of the last season of X Factor UK and is set to release his debut album this fall.
In an depth interview with OK magazine back in May Kris talked about how excited he was to have a co-write, “Still Got Tonight”, recorded by Glee star, Matthew Morrison, and mentioned that a song he wrote with one of the “Still Got Tonight” co-writers might end up on the CD of a UK artist.
Andrew Frampton co-wrote “Still Got Tonight” (as well as “Live Like We’re Dying”) and “Raise Your Hand” with Matt and Kris. Could that UK artist Kris referred to be Matt Cardle? With Matt’s debut CD set to be released October 24th, we’ll find out soon enough.
