Kris Allen Album Available for Pre-Order on Amazon, Single To Be Released Soon

Kris Allen’s debut post Idol release is available on Amazon now!

Amazon lists the release date as November 17.

Keeping in mind that release dates are subject to change, the 17th sounds right–Jive and Kris will work hard to get the album on store shelves by the big post-Thanksgiving weekend sales.

Also, check out THIS pre-concert interview Kris did with WPXI in Pittsburgh before his concert there Friday. He tells the reporter his first single will be released “soon”.

    Isn’t that picture the No Boundaries pic? I don’t really like it either, but i think that’s because he needs to shave in that picture.

    I can’t wait to hear the single when it comes out and the album in November. I want it to be titled ‘The Plaid Album’ and Kris to be dressed in a white collarless shirt with a background of plaid.

    I actually like that idea. Were you just kidding?

    Nope, I wasn’t kidding. Kris is a Beatles fan. I’m a Beatles fan. My fave albums by The Beatles are Rubber Soul and The White Album.

    Kris is eclectic and early on I thought he should put out his own ‘The White Album’ (his music, of course). People have always noticed and commented on his wearing plaid on AI and on tour. (Who are those idiots who think ‘plaid’ and ‘flanel’ are synonyms?)

    So what would be more appropriate than naming his first album from this stage of his musical career ‘The Plaid Album’? Real men wear plaid. (one of my brothers told me this a long time ago. lol)

    My husband is a real man, let me promise you, and he never wears plaid- not his style. I’ll have to let him know he fails the “real man” test.

    A poster @ IDF claims that it is entitled ‘Be with You’  and that he’s heard it. Supposedly it was up on itunes by mistake (another glitch?) for a very short time.

    I am kinda excited for this. Kris isn’t my #1 last season but he is a good musician. I’m not a fan of Brand New Shoes though, a little too sleepy for me, hopefully the major label debut will have more upbeat tunes! :)

    I guess we won’t hear this new single during the tour? if it’s comint out soon, it seems it will be before the tour end? Maybe he’ll sing it on the last show?

    I’m glad for Kris. Looking forward to hearing the cd. I thought earlier I would buy it to give my suppport to him. Hopefully others will too.
