Taylor Swift is out for blood, “Bad Blood”, and that moves a lot of singles and moves her up from 5th on sales to second on combined. Boosie Badazz gets shuffled down a spot by all that Badazz “Bad Blood”. Makes one want to hit the boosie. Pitch Perfect 2 (featuring Pentatonix) hits all the right notes to hold fourth on both charts while Hillsong United slides from 3rd to 5th on combined. twenty|one|pilots went from first last week on both charts to sixth on both. Ed Sheeran’s dad’s home videos are helping Ed to move those singles and albums (and a GMA performance doesn’t hurt either) – he’s 10 on sales and 7 on combined – trading places with Josh who is all about the albums. Meghan Trainor is 8th and Fifty Shades of Grey is 9th.
Fifth Harmony represents the reality song competitors by making the combined chart. Now 54 also features Tori Kelly, Kelly Clarkson and One Direction. It sells well enough to make 11th on sales, but doesn’t get the credit for any singles sales.
