Please understand it is out of our hands, and we WILL reschedule the show. 12th & Porter has been totally cool With us, and are working it out so we will be back soon :)”

Avoiding The Ick Factor: 5 Hosting Tips for The X Factor’s Khloe Kardashian – As we approach the second week of X Factor live shows (airing Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8/7c on Fox), would like to humbly offer Khloe some advice based on the performances of other reality show hosts we admire: – Read more at TV Guide

‘X Factor’ is powered by tabloid titillation – 7:26AM EST November 7. 2012 – Bet when Simon Cowell made all those changes to The X Factor, he didn’t factor in the odds that he’d make it even worse. Yet there you have it. After two new hosts, two new judges, and the seeming acquisition of every light, dancer, video screen and hideous costume in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, he has managed to make the least of TV’s talent shows something even less. What was once merely bad is now an abrasive assault on the senses, common included. – Read more at USA Today

Lady Gaga, Others Applaud Gay-Rights Election Victories – Three states — Maine, Maryland and Washington — put same-sex marriage on their ballots for a popular vote. The initiative officially passed in Maine and Maryland and is expected to pass in Washington, marking the first popular-vote victories for same-sex marriage after 30 previous attempts by other states. Gay marriage is currently legal in six states (Massachusetts, Iowa, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut and Vermont), as well as in Washington, D.C. But as The Associated Press points out, those laws were either enacted by lawmakers or through court rulings. The happy news was met with enthusiastic reactions from celebrity gay-rights supporters. “We did it!!!! Maryland and Minnesota workin the marriage equality!!!” Adam Lambert tweeted, along with a sassy photo/drawing of Obama “workin’ it.” – Read more at MTV

RaeLynn lights up Galleria Ice Spectacular – The Baytown teen made it to Season 2’s quarter-finals on the strength of her sassy attitude and twangy performances. Despite being cut weeks before the finale, she remains one of the series’ most talked-about singers, evoking opinions on both sides of the fence. “Miranda (Lambert) sent me a text and said, ‘Honey, you never want to be just a lukewarm artist. You want people to love you or hate you. That means you’re doing something right. You never want to be in the middle,’?” RaeLynn says. “That meant so much to me then. Oh my God, Miranda Lambert’s giving me advice!” – Read more at 29-25

Carrie shot the video for Two Black Cadillacs yesterday:

I’m glad I voted early! We’re on set today for the “Two Black Cadillacs” video! It’s going to be good…and has quite the twist!

A fan tweeted her asking if there was anything she could tell us about the video and Carrie replied.

Yes, I can tell you that there is a Cadillac involved… Does that help?

    GAC’s Suzanne Alexander tweeted:

Just saw Carrie Underwood behind the wheel of a Vintage Cadillac on a trailer! Must be shooting video for 2 Black Cadiilacs!!.

Carrie’s scheduled to be a guest and performer on Jimmy Fallon’s show tomorrow.

I can’t wait to see you on Thursday! I’ve always wanted to be on your show! We’re going to have some fun!

According to Keepin It Country blog she’ll be singing Blown Away.

Also, it looks like Bethany Sharp is the girl cast in the lead role (either mistress or wife). Here is her Twitter:

    And Facebook:

It appears that she is the former Miss Tennessee America and attended the CMA’s last week.

She is a client on the Movement Agency that has offices in LA and Nashville. They tweeted:

“Congrats to Bethany Sharp; booked as the Lead Actress in Megastar Carrie Underwood’s new video ‘Two Black Cadillacs’!”

I would tell Kelly about what Obama did in Benghazi and see if she still supports him, but I doubt she could find it on a map.

(sorry had to. I am still upset.)

  • Taylor

I’m sure Kelly has seen the news reports. Just because she is a woman, doesn’t mean that she doesn’t follow what is going on in the world.

Like 55% of the other women who voted in this election, she voted for President Obama.

  • fuzzywuzzy

Nice, misogynistic comment. Quite true to form with the Republican platform and mindset. Apology not accepted. Go vent your anger elsewhere.

  • journey1

Too bad the voters can’t show the politicians in Washington that we can go on after an election without malice and realize that since more than half of the American people wanted Barack Obama to win, we can stop the divisiveness and do what we can to work together and support our government.  Hopefully, we will not get stuck in petty arguments about who said what and who did what, and get on with trying to get our country back to where all of us are better off in some way.  It doesn’t really matter who won if we go back to sniping about the other party and past mistakes. Mistakes have been made by both parties.  Both sides need to get over their anger with the other side and roll up their shirtsleeves and fix what is broken in Washington.

This will be coming soon. Be on the lookout.

I think this country is more divided than ever. Sad, but true. With a democrat President and a republican House, who knows if we will ever get anything done.

  • cooks

How rude of you to insult Kelly just because things didn’t turn out the way you wanted them to!!

  • elliegrll

The USA Today article about the X Factor raises some good points, but Simon Cowell is in a bad situation.  The show needs to differentiate itself from American Idol, which is why they need the lights, costumes, etc, but unfortunately those things also make the show look obnoxious, abrasive,  and like it’s just a Saturday Night Live skit about American Idol.

  • elliegrll

I’m sure that she follows the news, but her perception of it may be different than yours.  That’s the thing about being human and an individual.  We all have our own ideas, and see things differently.  I think that’s a good thing, I can think of a lot of advancements that wouldn’t have happened if everybody thought or operated the same way that I do.

With Benghazi, not everyone fell in lock step with Fox New’s interpretation of what happened.

  • mjsbigblog

    The political post is thataway.

This is the headlines post. Let’s stick to talking reality television here.

Oh, and name calling and playing super mod will get you banned. Sick of people ignoring my mods and repeated REPEATED warnings.

  • Incipit

With a democrat President and a republican House, who knows if we will ever get anything done.

Oh, probably the same way things got done in the past – the party with the majority in the House has not always matched the party in the Oval Office – check your history, just over the last 50 years. There has often been Checks and Balances going on, with a vengeance.

This is nothing new.  And people in power either learn to broker deals – negotiate and compromise, or they suffer stalemate – which makes the voters unhappy…not healthy for a political career.

They’ll work it out, or the voters will turn them out. (any of them) Either way, it gets resolved, eventually.

    JMO. (and some historic fact)

  • Reflects On Life

I don’t turn to Kelly Clarkson for foreign policy analysis, just as I don’t check itunes daily to see when Barack Obama’s next pop-rock album is coming out.

  • Sassycatz

Too bad Nashville couldn’t have incorporated Lee DeWyze into their shoot.

  • mikaylaislove

“The only time the show works is when he’s being attacked as old and out-of-touch by Demi Lovato, the show’s only actual improvement, and the only person who is likely to escape with her reputation enhanced. Her comments aren’t exactly insightful, but at least she comes across as warm, real and simple, not an easy task in a show that is setting new standards for cold, phony and ludicrously over-produced.”

lol, the USA TODAY article is dead on…

  • MellyPer1692

@VH1: Heads up #Glamberts! Watch #VH1Buzz tomorrow morning at 10/9c for @AdamLambert’s special announcement! ;)”

Aaaargh, what could it be??? Tour??

  • Matthew Kitson

Well, Kelly Clarkson is a more valuable source for foreign policy views than FOX News

  • artemis112

I had tickets for Lee’s Nashville show and was so disappointed when I got an email from the venue yesterday that it was cancelled. At least it’s being rescheduled. Til then I’ll be watching videos from his Monday night concert at Lincoln Hall in Chicago, including this one of Lee’s new song “Breathing In.”

  • Nadine_Bitch

nice video of Adam meet and greet on Shanghai(29/09/12)

  • zaclona77

just as I don’t check itunes daily to see when Barack Obama’s next pop-rock album is coming out

hush there, I would be really careful with that – otherwise the idea just might stick and in four years we will be looking at America’s Next Top Political Idol or So You Think You Can Be The Leader Of The Free World… or perhaps we just watched one of them? *ponders*

  • YankeeFan08

Okay, so this has piqued my curiosity:

Speculation is that Adam will be doing the VH1 Divas show….the show is in mid-December so its time to announce the performers etc., they have men on from time to time, and his PR flack re-tweeted the first vh1 tweet about the show last week..  he announced his NewNowNext performance on VH1 Buzz….so I suspect the speculation may be correct

  • raya

Jessica just tweeted Nigel that she would see him tonight.  She also said she’s performing tonight so seemingly she has another gig tonight.  Would be nice if she could eventually perform her own music though and not just cover after cover.

  • Lexie O’Neill

Scotty filmed a Bojangles commercial a few weeks ago and it’s now airing.  Several people have seen it in North Carolina and one reported from Virginia–so it’s not just local to his hometown like the QDR commercials.  Be on the lookout:))))
