Britney Spears’ Conservatorship Judge Wanted To Talk To Her About New X-Factor Gig! – Brit’s conservators needed to get approval from the court for her to become a judge on the hit talent show. “Britney’s team is almost ready to sign the contract for her to become a judge on X Factor. Before the contract is signed, the lawyers needed to get approval from Judge Reva Goetz, as all business transactions, contracts, etc., need to get formal approval,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Judge Goetz wanted to talk to Britney in person to make sure this is something that she wanted to do, and that she was capable of doing. The judge was extremely impressed and Britney is very, very excited to become a part of Simon Cowell’s show. The judge signed off on the deal. “Under terms of the contract, Britney will be paid around $15 million a year. She will travel out of state for auditions, as long as it doesn’t interfere with her custodial time with her sons. The boys will be allowed to come to the set whenever Britney wants them there. Her sons are her number one priority. Jason has been heavily involved in the contract talks,” the insider says. – RadarOnline

While neither Lauren nor Scotty could have held their part-time jobs for very long, the whole list is varied.

And throw in people like Hunter Hayes, who have never done anything except music (for better and worse) are getting to do their dream jobs…come one, did they really give them a choice?  I’d pick my dream job over going back to waitressing any day (nothing wrong with being a waitress, just saying my dream job, wait, I’m doing my dream job, at least part time, okay that made my day…), but you all get my point…

After I saw that with Stand Up last night I did some checking myself – I couldn’t believe my eyes.  You are right that it was the song of the day, but it was 99 cents, not 69 cents.  Maybe after this sale is over, they should try putting it up for 69 cents too at a later time.

Desperate for sales for James’ Stand Up @ 69 cents!

  • Anonymous

Speaking of prices, who sets them?  The record label or Amazon?  I can never figure out why some people are priced higher than others.  Like James’ singles have always been $1.29 (until this sale of Stand Up).  But I just bought Haley’s yesterday and it was 99 cents and that is a brand new release.  I don’t understand their pricing on Amazon. Unless maybe it’s the record label helping to set the prices.

“Desperate for sales for James’ Stand Up @ 69 cents!”

Umm, that is not unusual.  Casey James song has been 69 cents for a significant part of its presence.  It was dropped to 69 cents when it entered the top 40 to get sales.  And again at top 30 to improve sales.  It stayed there for a long time.  And it worked, the song started to sell.  It’s free now; but that is just to garner interest in album sales.

I’ve noted other songs on sale (even older ones) for 69 cents.

It’s more fun watching Scotty say, “do you want paper or plastic? ” and seeing Lauren in one of those awful fast food hats drop a pizza. A lot has already leaked out about their school activities. Lauren the cheerleader and Scotty the choir boy/pitcher.

  • Chris

They have even done free songs but I don’t see it as desperate. When you go into Starbucks there often is a card for a free tune. It just comes down to exposure. Heck even some artists have to sing for free until they find an audience.

That’s what I don’t understand.  Why would Casey James be 69 cents, but James Durbin be $1.29 without going on sale until now with Stand Up being 99 cents, when James has clearly been struggling all along with single sales.  Who decides, I wonder, when singles go on sale.  I think a 69 cent sale for James Durbin would probably help him out a lot. Clearly even putting Stand Up on sale for 99 cents has helped his sales of that song the past few days. Guess I just don’t understand why if James has been struggling with his single sales, they have him so high priced. Love Me Bad still is, and always has been as far as I know, $1.29 – higher than a lot of other singles.

I really do not think it matters much what they did or how long they did it the show is just a vehicle to see someone you enjoy as a performer doing something else.

Did anyone understand what Steven said at the end of the video regarding Casey? It sounded like the first time Steven saw him was on a plane not auditioning for American Idol..

  • Nele621

IMO, I don’t think Archuleta will be recognizable almost everywhere. Maybe in the Philippines and Utah.

Nele621  You would be surprised to see a map of where he has fans.  Someone made one up a year or so ago.  He has fan clubs all over the world.  Germany, Spain, Chile, Peru, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.  People recognize him and tweet that recognition all over the US.  I am sure the PTB had serious discussions about where to send him.  David will do well wherever he goes and will not expect any special privileges.

Kathy and Hoda visit the set of this weeks Celebrity Apprentice so I am sure Clay and the girls will have much to talk about. Should be fun.

I think people are just getting tired of these talent shows.
AI still seems to produce a good one now and then, as Scotty can attest, but not like in the early days. You really don’t hear much about any of the winners from other shows.

Really looking forward to Celebrity Apprentice this week. Today show will be interesting to get some behind the scenes stuff, and Clay is always fun and interesting.

If you haven’t been following David Archuleta’s journey you’d be pretty shocked to see how well known David A is internationally and also in other states besides Utah lol.
