Glee Cast Going on Tour This Summer!

The Glee kids are going back on tour in the US this summer!  And this time, newcomers Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet will join the tour. Yippie!

Ryan Seacrest exclusively revealed the news Tuesday on his radio show during an interview with stars Amber Riley and Harry Shum Jr., who were hearing the news for the first time, according to

“Glee Live! In Concert!” will kick off on May 21 in Las Vegas, and will be visiting 16 cities, ending in Uniondale NY on June 18.

Yes, the tour is coming to Boston! I’ll be there, of course.

“The cast and I were so moved by the love and enthusiasm of our fans at last year’s concerts that we knew we had to do it again,” said the show’s co-creator Ryan Murphy. “There is something magical about thousands of ‘Gleeks’ coming together to share a special night with our cast, and this tour is one way we can thank them for their unbelievable support from the beginning.”

Like last year, the show will feature the most memorable musical numbers from seasons one and two including “Empire State of Mind,” “Toxic,” ”My Life Would Suck Without You,” “It’s My Life,” and of course, the show’s anthem, “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, February 19 to the general public, but American Express cardmembers get the first chance at tickets this Friday, February 11. For more information, please visit

I’m glad the kids are touring, but geez, do they ever get a break?   See the entire schedule, after the jump.

I’m surprised to see no dates in the South. I always thought it would be interesting to see regional ratings for television shows, and I wonder if Glee does poorly outside the coasts and the Rust Belt.

Idol is lucky that this tour isn’t going up against its own summer tour, because I have a feeling the Glee one will be more successful (why, IDK, but then again, I have no interest in the show)

I’m so happy they’re coming back to Chicago and to a bigger venue, tickets were pretty much impossible to get last time! They really do never get a break though…guess they have to soak it all up while the hype is huge!

Oh, how I wish I could go… I would totally go just to see Darren and Chris.

Wonder if this means Blaine is transferring to ND before the season is over? Hmmm.

That is a grueling tour schedule, by today’s standards. Plenty of interesting regional skips;no south at all, no northwest, no Denver or Phoenix stops.

I may actually think about going to Boston as well if I’m able to get tickets. Does anyone know how much the tickets cost?

I love living in a major city now. omg. i just shit myself. im totally going!

Damn I wish they were coming close to my area. Dallas would have been perfect for me. I’m glad to see they added more cities than they did last year but I wish they would come to the South.
