Chris Daughtry appeared on the Price is Right today as part of Celebrity Charity week. Chris joined the game with host Drew Carey and several VERY ENTHUSIASTIC contestants. (Check out the woman in part 2 who called Drew “Bob”. Har)

Chris won some and he lost some for the contestants he was paired up with, but in the end, he raised money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Snoop Dogg, Jenny McCarthy, Neil Patrick Harris and Heidi Klum also took part in Celebrity Charity week.

In the first clip below, Chris in introduced and has mixed success with two contestants. In the second clip, he introduces the BIG PRICE IS RIGHT PRODUCT SHOWCASE! Chris looks like he’s having a pretty good time. He can cheese it up with the best of them!

That was very sweet of Daughtry to do in honor of his Grandma.  And two concerts.  I hope she’s a big fan.

Heh. Sometimes I want to be a celebrity just so I can do cool things like this. I LOVED TPIR as a kid. I would be all over this. I’d try make them let me play that game with the yodelling guy who falls of the cliff. Half of me always wanted  the person to win, while the other, evil half, wanted to watch the little dude tumble off the cliff.

I’m glad Daughtry had fun with it! Embrace the cheese! It makes life that much more fun. Bonus: It’s all for charity. Can’t argue with that.

I think that Chris did have fun.  :)  Chris’ career is going just fine and he doesn’t need to do a show like this for the exposure or promotion.  Cool that he earned some money for the AA in honor of his grandma.  :)

Chris got to have fun, promote charity, honor his grandma, and get publicity for Daughtry-I don’t see any downside to this gig. The showcases were both geared to promote the band!

That was fun. Chris did a great job and he obviously knows the show.

I watched it, Chris was great on the show.  The first 3 contestants didnt seem to even know who he was, kinda ignored him.  The last 3 were all huggy, it was cute.  I love that his stuff was part of the final showdown, made it more real.  Drew Carey sure can talk fast, lol, he keeps the show moving along.  It was fun, and happy that Chris won some money for the charity.  Some of the games were really hard tho, couldnt they have given easier ones for charity?  Thats all I got!!!!

I have to say part 2 was my favorite.  Thanks so much mj for putting up these vids.  We’ve been waiting a long time for this.  It was definitely worth it.  I loved seeing Chris getting so into the hosting part of the game.  I think he did quite well and yep, he does know this show works.  The best part of this obviously was being able to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of his grandmother.  It brings back why I liked Chris when his audition aired for the first time almost seven years ago.  He has a great heart about him and seems to genuinely care about people especially when you consider that he was loving and raising his wife’s two children as much as if they were his very own.  That left a big impression on me.

It was nice to see him be a little cheesy for a change.  Loved it!  LOL

I cracked up when that lady called Drew “Bob”. Whoops. LOL Gotta admit I miss seeing him as a host. I grew up watching this game as well.

I agree Kirsten about the cliffhanger game. It is kind of fun to see the guy fall off that cliff. I think my favorite of all these years has got to be Plinko.

The guy just makes me laugh! His personality is so seemingly at odds with his music.

Chris is a great guy! I love both sides of him ~ rockstar and dork. :)

Well if is music areer doesn’t keep going strong, he can always be a game show announcer. He did better than their new announcer. Love Chris he is too cute!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE  Chris Daughtry!!! I’ve seen 11 concerts, done VIP and have met and talked with him and all the band members numerous times. He really is a Big Dork in person. Just a great normal guy with a big heart! I actually recorded a video of them in a concert in Charlottesville, Virginia where he is originally from. He acknowledged old schoolmates, friends, his Parents, and  even waved and smiled and said “I see You out there, Gramma”! Yes, she was at that concert. What a humble man.
He did look like he had a Great time on “The Price Is Right”!
