Well, I know Carrie’s performance was from her appearance back in May. There’s been video out for a few months now. Not exactly new ;) but I still love seeing her perform it.

The Opry just added HQ video of the performances to its youtube channel, I think that’s why MJ’s posting them and I for one appreciate that she did :)

    Two lovely performances by Kellie.

IMO one of Carrie’s best covers! Thank-you MJ for reminding me how much I love this song and the beautiful way Carrie sang it. I truly believe if she were to re-release it own her own or as a duet with Alan it would do really well on the charts!

Lowing the key of Lauren´s song actually worked pretty well. Her voice comes stronger.

Not a Country fan, but CaseyJ is thrilling on that guitar, and he has learned how to sing since Idol.

wow…lauren looks 20 years older than she is in that vid. She doesn’t look bad per se, but if I didn’t know of her, I’d assume she was a veteran who’d been around awhile, not a teenager.

Thanks for posting I enjoyed all of them especially Carrie’s cover of Remember When which is one of my favorite songs. Also struck that  each artist has their own unique sound and style. They are all very talented.

Thanks mj for posting Casey’s Drive video from the Opry!  Just when I thought I had heard all the different versions he has out there of Drive  on You Tube, electric and acoustic, he pulls out the dobro from his quiver of gee-tars …. and sounds like he’s been playing that since birth (probably has).

What a talent!  His album is on constant repeat on my iPod.

So proud of them to be at the Opry.Carries’ cover of Remember When is amazing, James is just wow with that guitar, still baffles me why Kellie was drop by her label and Lauren, she is precious to me.

Yep, Casey looks/sounds like a pro on the dobro and a pro at the Opry. I usually have something to say about a thing or two I’d like to him to tweak in order to improve but this time I think he’s spot on in this performance – no complaints, a full “thumbs up” across the board.

Lauren sounds great in this video. I wish someone had her more recent appearance.
