Pentatonix is riding the Youtube wave and this helps their 2012 PTXmas album top the Digital Albums chart this week. The “Litte Drummer Boy” from that album also tops the Holiday Digital and Holiday 100 charts. Don’t ask me how it can be number 2 on the main Streaming chart (behind “Wrecking Ball”) and not top the Holiday Streaming chart (when it is classified as a Holiday song for the Digital and 100 charts). BB can be odd like that.
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson’s “Wrapped in Red” returns to the top of the Holiday Albums chart. Her original Christmas song “Underneath the Tree” tops the Adult Contemporary airplay chart for its second week.
The “Best Song Ever”, from One Direction, is the best song on the Hot Single Sales chart returning to the top for its fifth non-contiguous week.
Mandisa continues her total domination of the Christian AC chart with “Overcomer” spending its 12th week at number 1.
