Big Brother 18 – Week 6 Power Rankings

Tonight was a live eviction episode of Big Brother 18. Read on to see who won HoH and where the Houseguests stand for the week.

Tonight was the fifth live eviction of Big Brother 18. By a vote of 9 – 0, Frank was evicted from the Big Brother house. After tonight’s HoH competition, Paul is the HoH. But before I get to my predictions of the upcoming week, let me discuss the events of the previous week that led to Frank’s eviction.

Frank: Frank started the game really well. He was making strong bonds with people and was in a good spot with the Eight Pack. However, he got carried away and was caught overplaying as someone trying to control everything. He made multiple deals with people and threw different names as potential targets in the upcoming weeks, which made people lose trust in him. As well, his behavior around the women in the house bothered a lot of the Houseguests. Frank was spared from elimination two weeks in a row with Category 4 winning HoH, but he was finally vulnerable for eviction when the team twist ended. After waiting to target him for weeks, the house finally took a swing at him. Frank tried to campaign to save himself, but he was the bigger target between him and Bridgette. Once he lost the Veto, Frank already had one foot out the door.

ALLIANCES

Right now there are no solid alliances in the house. Instead, the majority is united to take out Bridgette, but Da’Vonne is a target for a lot of people too. There are also talks of splitting up Nicole and Corey too. In addition, there are some unbreakable duos (Nicole and Corey, Natalie and James, and Zakiyah and Paulie). The guys seem to be sticking together too, but right now it just seems to be people with a common target in mind working together to keep the status quo.

Now onto the Power Rankings. When the feeds came back tonight, Paul is the HoH. Here are where the Houseguests stand in the house this upcoming week.

WEEK 6 POWER RANKINGS

1. PAUL – He is the current HoH and will be making nominations this week. However, since Paul has become Paulie’s lapdog, Paulie is really the HoH this week. Paul will 100% target Bridgette. He hates her and has treated her poorly in the house. He’ll want the week to go as smoothly as last week with the plan not changing at all. If Bridgette were to win the Power of Veto, he’ll likely do whatever Paulie tells him to do.

2. PAULIE – Paulie should be the biggest target in the house right now. He’s running the game, yet does not seem to be on anyone’s radar at the moment (except maybe for Natalie’s). He has a lot of influence on Paul, so he will do what he can to have this week go the way he wants it to.

3. JAMES – James nominated Frank and Bridgette last week, and his choice to do what “the house” wants will give him safety this week. James kept Paul off the block last week, so I’ll be surprised if Paul will want to target James this week.

4. ZAKIYAH – As usual, Zakiyah is playing a very under-the-radar type of game and doesn’t have anything to worry about right now. She hasn’t won any competitions yet and she has a lot of good connections in the house right now. So once again, Zakiyah can just continue to lie low.

5. MICHELLE – Michelle’s game is similar to Zakiyah’s. The difference is that Michelle doesn’t seem to have as tight of relationships as Zakiyah does. Michelle will be viewed as expendable at some point, and her success at last week’s Veto made people realize she could be a competition threat too. But unless something crazy happens, she’ll be fine.

6. NATALIE – Natalie is an easy option for a pawn this week, so there is a chance she could be nominated this week. However, Paul has already discussed nominating a strong competitor next to Bridgette to lessen Bridgette’s chances of winning the Veto. James will likely fight to keep Natalie off the block too. However, if Natalie does get put up as a pawn, she won’t be evicted.

7. COREY – Corey and Nicole will likely find themselves on the block together sometime soon. When Nicole was originally split up from her showmance partner Hayden back in season 16, it happened during the double eviction. Although Corey will likely be safe this week, he and Nicole should be worried because someone will take a shot at them soon.

8. VICTOR – There was a plan to send the returning Houseguest right back out the door, but Victor seems to have been spared due to a strong desire to send Frank and Bridgette out the house instead. Paul and Victor were very close allies when Victor was originally evicted, but that bond doesn’t seem to be so strong now. Paul has already discussed the possibility of nominating Victor as a pawn against Bridgette. So Victor leaving this week certainly isn’t out of the question.

9. NICOLE – Frank has exposed Nicole’s game this past week before he left. There’s a reason why some Big Brother fans have nicknamed her “Ratcole” with her playing all sides of the house right now. Frank revealed to Da’Vonne that Nicole said she wanted her out, which is true. Da’Vonne is aware that she cannot trust Nicole, but it is Paulie Paul who is the HoH. Nicole might be okay since Bridgette and Da’Vonne are bigger targets than her, but she’s not in a very good position right now.

10. DA’VONNE – Nicole, Corey, and Paulie all desperately want Da’Vonne out of the house. Nicole and Corey were willing to save Tiffany last week to get Da’Vonne out of the house. Paulie said his ideal order was to take out Tiffany with Da’Vonne following her out the door. Since Paulie has a lot of influence on Paul, Da’Vonne should be worried this week, especially if Bridgette wins the Veto.

11. BRIDGETTE – Tiffany and Frank are now gone, so Bridgette is the last remaining member of that trio that formed two weeks ago when Frank and Bridgette decided to team up with Tiffany. Bridgette was Frank’s only ally, so the house will target her once again to make it a straightforward week. Bridgette might’ve been spared if someone else won HoH, but Paul has been badmouthing Bridgette and treated her terribly this past week. He irrationally hates her, so he will do whatever he can to get Bridgette out. Bridgette will likely be evicted if she doesn’t win the Power of Veto.

So those are my thoughts on the house dynamics this week. Thanks for reading and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
