Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan will be asked to promote their next album – due out in November – as normal but after that the future of the band is uncertain.

Simon is determined to keep the boys together and hopes they will agree to tour again in 2016.

Ella Henderson announced as the face of Batiste!
Dry shampoo is one of the best beauty inventions EVER. For lazy girls (and guys) it means they can dodge the shampoo for an extra day. It’s also incredible at adding texture to flat, limp locks. One girl who is all for dry shampoo is The X Factor star Ella Henderson…

The Ghost singer has been announced as the face/hair of Batiste, the UK’s #1 dry shampoo. Ella is the star of the Ready For It campaign (see fit piccy above), which also features her new Mirror Man single. A double Ella whammy!

She’s pretty happy about her new role as Batiste main babe, too.

“Batiste is my number 1 hit; I’m either in the studio or on stage, in a car or on a plane – often with little time to get ready. I can always count on Batiste to refresh and restyle my hair in one go; I know I’ll always be ready for wherever the day takes me.”

Leona Lewis’s new album: Why you should be very excited for it
When Leona Lewis announced that she had left Simon Cowell’s Syco record label back in 2014 it came as a welcome surprise. The fans had been calling for her to leave the X Factor label for sometime after the messy release of third album Glassheart, which saw her sell a tiny fraction of what she is clearly capable of.

But not many – this writer included – thought she would ever jump ship. Leona was the original X Factor superstar. Before ‘Bleeding Love’, winners were seen as second-rate popstars with a two-album shelf life at best. ‘The Voice of an Angel’ crushed that perception, and helped Cowell sell the X Factor brand across the world, as well as opening the pathway for later international breakouts such as One Direction, Little Mix and Olly Murs.

“She’s on Def Jam in America and they are very passionate about the record as well. We are internationally ambitious for the record, but I know that [the work] very much starts here in our own back garden.

“If the US has some semblance of success, then we can start joining the dots globally.”
