It’s been two seasons, but Christina Aguilera is finally back on The Voice 8 panel as coach, and she appears ready to do battle. Just check her out in this newest preview from NBC.
“Coming back to The Voice by now is almost like coming back home,” Christina says in the video. “With every season that I step away, I grow as a person and that has to affect my coaching.” You’ll recall that her extended break was due in part to having her second child back in August.
In the clip, you’ll see that she starts up right where she left off, ribbing her fellow coaches, challenging them for team members, and all around giving the boys a run for their money. She does a pretty decent impersonation of Pharrell Williams, whom she is coaching with for the first time.
“She’s really focused. She’s really energetic. She has that fire,” says Adam Levine about the returning coach. “She’s special. So, we got something. We got something really good!” says Pharrell.
You’ll get a few glimpses of the NEW TALENT in this two minute plus clips as well, so check it out! The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, February 23 at 8/7c PM.
