The Voice 24 Battles: Jacquie Roar vs BIAS electrify the stage leaving coach Gwen Stefani with a tough choice

The Voice season 24 Battles continue on Monday (Oct 23), including a fierce fight between two Team Gwen Stefani country artists, Jacquie Roar and BIAS. The two perform a heated rendition of Jelly Roll’s “Need a Favor.”

The pair proceed to set The Voice stage on fire with their power and chemistry. Gwen has a difficult choice to make, although Jacquie has a few blazing moments that probably put her over the edge. In any case, the charismatic BIAS emerges out of the performance a steal-worthy contestant.

“You two were electric,” says John Legend. “I enjoyed every moment, I loved your interaction….you all were singing too!” John compliments Jacquie’s power and range. However, he couldn’t take his eyes off off BIAS, “I loved the way you interacted with her and goaded her on.” In the end, John would choose BIAS. “I felt the star power coming from you.”

“You both were so full of energy!” Reba McEntire remarks, adding that BIAS looks like a “12 year old out there having fun.” BIAS responds to that odd remark, “Whatever it takes Reba, whatever it takes!” Gwen asks for Reba’s help, but veteran singer only says, “I’d take both of them!” But then admits she’d take Jacquie to the Knockouts.

“Both of you didn’t put a foot wrong”

Niall Horan compliments Jacquie’s control despite her wailing vocals. He calls Bias “fun to watch” adding that it’s easy to look past his exuberant stage presence and not realize that he’s actually a very good singer. “Both of you didn’t put a foot wrong,” says Niall. Saying that eliminating team members is his least favorite part of the show, Niall declares that he leans toward BIAS.

Gwen calls BIAS “unbelievable” adding, “You’re just so weird and cool.” She didn’t realize until now how good a singer he is. On the other hand, she calls Jacquie “everything,” adding “you’re beautiful, you have so much confidence, your voice can do everything.” Gwen believes she could easily sing songs outside of Country music.

Which artist will Gwen take to the Knockouts? And will the loser be stolen by another coach? Watch The Voice 24 Battles Part 3 on NBC Monday, October 23 at 8 pm ET/PT to find out.
