Simon Cowell tells TV Guide Magazine that he wants Nicole Scherzinger to co-host the US version of the X-Factor, it’s just a matter of working out a deal with her:
Yeah, I want her to do it, but we’ve got to get the deal done and find someone she has chemistry with. But I absolutely adore her. She was fantastic on the U.K. X Factor and I’m hopeful it will happen.
And on why he loves Nicole:
She’s gorgeous and ruthlessly ambitious and doesn’t arrive with a massive entourage. Everyone adores her.
“The idea is to have a guy and a girl hosting the show, ” Simon says “because funny enough I like working on shows with two hosts.”
He has some amusing things to say about the Ryan Seacrest/Brian Dunkleman Idol co-host paring of Season 1.
Plus he insists that he’s STILL meeting with possible candidates for the judges’ panel, and will not be revealing the rest of the cast until everything is in place.
