Season 7 Idoler, Michael Johns was in Tampa over the weekend, for all the big pre-Super Bowl festivities. On Friday night, he attended the Maxim Magazine Super Bowl XLIII Party and Black Tie Gala, and on Saturday, he performed at the EPSN’s Next Big Weekend Tailgaiting party in downtown Tampa.

After the jump, watch an interview with the Cowhead radio show in Tampa. About his upcoming album, due in March, he says, “I was able to go in and make a record on my own, and we just sold it back to Sony.”
Well whatever “Sold it back to Sony” means… Perhaps, in one way or another, Michael’s record will be released on a Sony imprint…
