“I was just telling her that she really cannot give up, because she’s an amazing singer,” said soul-diva-in-the-making Amaro, who was one of the first to embrace Crow onstage and console the tweenager. “She’s only 13, and she can sing like that? She has a big career ahead of her. She really has to continue to work hard and do what she loves.”
Cantiello also unraveled the mystery of what Crow was saying to Amaro after their embrace, when the pint-size belter gestured emphatically to the only remaining female in the competition. “She said to me, ‘You’ve gotta represent! You’ve gotta represent for the girls!’ ” Amaro said. “I was like, ‘OK, I will represent for the girls.’ ”

Jennifer Hudson provides her own in-flight entertainment with tape of D.C. ‘Christmas in Washington’ concert
A well-traveled source tells us Hudson amused passengers on the 2:30 p.m. Delta Shuttle from Reagan Airport to LaGuardia on Monday by watching what appeared to be a recording of the concert, in which she took part, on her laptop — and applauding what she beheld on the screen.
The source says Hudson made her presence known on the aircraft when a flight attendant asked a passenger to move so the Oscar winner could sit next to a male traveling companion in first class.

Ryan Seacrest’s potential move to ‘Today’ puts NBC on alert
As the gap between pop culture and the culture writ large seems to narrow with each passing day, the possible ascendancy of Ryan Seacrest to a plum network news assignment marks another notable watershed. Can a purveyor of Top 40 radio and the next singing sensation (not to mention another round of Coke) on “American Idol” command the television stage in a national crisis?
That’s just one of the questions making the rounds inside NBC headquarters at Rockefeller Center in New York, where executives are said to be discussing whether to make Seacrest the next host of the “Today” show.

Jennifer Lopez ‘to sell off jewels given to her by Marc Anthony including $4m engagement ring’
Jennifer Lopez’s divorce has turned ugly after reports she is selling off all the jewellery Marc Anthony gave her during their seven year marriage.
The singer is even said to want to get rid of her stunning $4m (£2.5m) engagement ring in a bid to make a fresh start.
Lopez and Anthony announced their split earlier this year.

Screen Actors Guild Award Nominations: Modern Family, Dexter and 30 Rock Top List
Nominations for the 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced on Wednesday morning, and ABC’s lovable Modern Family bested all comers with a total of five nods, including Outstanding Comedy Ensemble. Dexter and 30 Rock followed with three nominations each.
Glee was nominated in the Comedy Series ensemble category, but shut out of other acting categories

Lea Michele Discusses Future Of ‘Glee,’ NYC Spin-Off
“I think that that would be an incredible idea, so we’ll just have to see what happens,” Lea said of doing a spin-off based in the Big Apple. “I definitely think everyone is looking into all different options, so I think it will be something really exciting. I can’t say what it will be, but I think it will be something really fun. I know that me and Cory [Monteith], Chris [Colfer], Naya [Rivera] are graduating, Amber [Riley] too. We love our job, love this show and we really would be happy to be on it in whatever form it would be, so we’ll see what happens. But I’m a New Yorker so if Rachel Berry gets to hit up New York City I’m going to be the happiest girl in the whole world.”
