Casey James, JB and the Moonshine Band to Lead 2012 Taste of Country Christmas Tour – Casey James will bring fellow Texans JB and the Moonshine Band on the road with him this fall as they take the Taste of Country Christmas Tour across the southern United States. The 11-stop run pairs two of the hottest young acts in country music on a trip through Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas during the holiday season. When chatting with Casey James recently, he told Taste of Country about his goal list, which includes a few check marks seemingly tailor-made for the holiday. “It’s about being able to spend time with friends and family,” he says of what’s important to him. “Spending time with my dogs. X Factor contestant busted for DUI in Delray Beach, police say – Lexa Berman may have missed her ticket to the next round of X Factor, but police say a weekend performance in Delray Beach was enough to land her a ride to jail. The 22-year-old Highland Beach woman — who auditioned for the X Factor talent show in front of Britney Spears and Simon Cowell — was arrested for allegedly driving while drunk. ‘DWTS’: Mark Ballas dances with Shawn Johnson, hasn’t ‘felt this good…for a long time’ – Three weeks after he and Bristol Palin were sent packing, Mark Ballas came off the bench Monday to dance with his season 8 partner Shawn Johnson — and earned a perfect 30 for serving as a stand-in for the injured Derek Hough. “I just felt really good,” Ballas told reporters afterwards. “All week it’s been feeling good. X Factor ratings slump could cost ITV £10m in ad revenue – Declining audiences for Simon Cowell’s The X Factor could cost ITV as much as £10m in TV advertising revenue. show has suffered falling ratings for two years. Saturday’s episode was down more than 2 million viewers on the same weekend in 2011, and the series as a whole is down by well over 1 million viewers an episode on average compared with last year. The married pair’s alt-country release, dubbed “The Best Part,” arrives via their indie label Enzo and Ira Records. – Twilight’s Nikki Reed has released a five-song EP, The Best Part, with her husband, American Idol alum Paul McDonald. The pair, married since October 2011, issued the joint effort through their indie label, Enzo and Ira Records. The alt-country tracks — co-written by Reed and McDonald — include “Now That I’ve Found You,” which was re-recorded after Reed directed its music video earlier this year.
