He’s pulled a hamstring, and doesn’t get to rehearsal until Saturday. This is pretty ridiculous. Props to Steve for having a very high tolerance for embarrassment. Melissa and Tony – Foxtrot – Wait…Melissa had a job? Like a real job? She goes back to say “goodbye” to them, because now she’s a professional reality show whore! She is very good. I expect she’ll go very far. Lil’ Kim and Derek – Samba – Party with Lil Kim! Actually, the little jailbird is pretty good. She’s comfortable and uninhibited on the dance floor. Maybe not as precise as some of the others, but she’s fun to watch. Bruno says, “You are pocket sized venus…it wasn’t perfect, but you sold it to me.” Carrie Ann says, “That was hot…you just draw us in.” Len says, “Slip in some of the more fundamentals steps…make an old judge happy.” . Ty and Chelsie – Foxtrot – Ty puts on his cool face. That ram-rod straight posture that worked for the quickstep is a little awkward here, plus he’s made a few mistakes. Nice save when Chelsie fell. He’s trying, though. Jewel, in the audience, looks pleased.
