Dancing With The Stars – Week 3 – Results

*American Idol has been preempted tonight by President Obama’s Press Conference*

Come back here tomorrow night at 8pm ET for the Top 10 Live performance show live blog!

In the meantime, I’ll be able to live blog the Dancing with the Stars results show tonight, due to the rearranged TV schedule, so stick around.

Denise and Maks are eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

Next week, there will be a double elimination.

Video and Live Blog after the JUMP…

After the recap, 4 couples are declared safe.   The first 3, Melissa and Tony, Gilles and Cheryl and Shawn and Mark, are no-brainers…but Steve and Karina?   WTF?   There go my points.   Lolz at Karina nearly losing it when she heard the news…

After the break, Lawrence and Edyta, David and Kym, Chuck and Julianne and Lil Kim and Derek are declared safe.

Cloris Leachman is baaack…with her partner Corky Ballas to demonstrate the Lindy Hop and Argentine Tango — two new dances that will be introduced next week…

Daryll Hall and John Oats are next…singing “Maneater”. Remember them?   Maks, Tony, Dmitry and Karina dance a routine wearing fabulous 80’s costumes!

Adele is next, she performs her single, “Chasing Pavements” featured dancers are Alec and Edyta.

Four couples are left. Each had “issues on the dance floor or failed to live up to the judges expectations.” Two of them had the judges lowest scores. Which couples are safe, and which will dance off in front of the judges? Steve-O and Lacey are SAFE. Holly and Dmitry are sent into the Dance off. Ty and Chelsie are SAFE leaving Denise and Maks to be sent into the Dance Off.
Holly and Dmitry dance again.   She’s still terrible. Len thinks she came out hot tonight. Bruno critiques her timing. Carrie Ann notes that she kept her foot on the ground. Dmitry stresses that he really really likes dancing with Holly (last night he seemed to say that he missed his injured partner, Jewel). Carrie Ann – 6   Len – 6 Bruno – 6 Total – 18 (last night 17)

Denise and Maks dance again. She’s still terrible too. Bruno thinks she improved by “leaps and bounds.”   Carrie Ann says she’s good under pressure.   Len thinks they deserve to stay. Carrie Ann – 6, Len – 7, Bruno – 7 – 20 (last night 16)
