It was summer of 2008 and I could not turn on my car radio without Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” turning up somewhere on the dial–often on simultaneous stations. There was no escaping it, so it was a good thing that I kinda liked it.
Chris Martin and the band release a new single, “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall”, on the verge of the summer of 2011. While I don’t think it will be as ubiquitous as “Viva” it’s another sweeping anthem that should get some solid HAC play. I won’t be punching past this one, either… What do you think?
