Thursday Ratings: X Factor Stays Steady, Glee Premiere Numbers Drop

The Robin Williams comedy, The Crazy Ones had a solid premiere, after a massive Big Bang Theory. American Idol alum, Kelly Clarkson guest starred on the Robin Williams helmed show. X Factor ratings stayed steady with last week, which is impressive, considering the competition. Glee had a disappointing return, The Beatles notwithstanding.  Ratings should pick up considerable when FOX airs the Cory Monteith tribute in two weeks.

Wednesday Ratings: X Factor Rises!

X Factor ratings are UP compared to last Thursday. So, that’s a bit of good news, considering it faced off against Survivor (Which had more viewers, but not in the demo) and a couple of premieres. The Nashville premiere is down vs last year.

Thursday Ratings: X Factor Hits a Series Low

The X Factor rating dip into the 1s. And a rerun of The Big Bang Theory beat it again. I can’t even imagine the bloodbath when shows return to the schedule next week as X Factor heads towards the middle rounds. It’s gonna get ugly.

At least The Million Second Quiz didn’t beat it.

Wednesday Ratings: X Factor Stays Steady, Big Brother AGT Rise, Survivor Fall Edition Falls

The good news for X Factor this week: It stayed steady compared to to last week’s series low, and lost to the Survivor premiere.  Yes, it could have been worse. But consider that the Season 2 premiere earned a 3.4 rating in the demo and the SEASON 1 premiere nabbed 4.4 in the demo and 12.5 million. Considered tepid at the time, especially compared to Simon Cowell’s 20 million viewer expectation, those numbers look positively Superbowlesque two years later.
