Big Brother 15: Thursday EVICTION NIGHT LIVE BLOG & RECAP! (Episode 21)

Tonight, Helen and Spenser are on the block. Will the houseguests make a big move? Or will it be business as usual? Also, the hamsters don’t know it, but somebody from the jury house will re-enter the game! Speculation is that an endurance contest will determine the winner.

Stay tuned…

Julie says all hell will break loose when the houseguests learn that the jurors will compete to re-enter the house!

Spenser has an inkling that he’s not the target (he’s not) and is not worried. Helen is beginning to realize that she should have gotten Amanda out of the house when she could have. Duh. She proceeds to work to get HoH, Aaryn, on her side, but she’s scared to death of Amanda. Helen and Alyssa pledge to protect her.

Helen tears up as she works on Andy to vote for her. She pleads with him to side with the “good” side of the house, which America is rooting for. In the diary room, Andy scoffs at the idea that there’s a good and bad side of the house.

Of course, Andy runs to Amanda and tells her everything. Amanda doesn’t even feel threatened. Helen doesn’t trust Andy. She knows he’s lying. So, she tries to convince McCrae to keep her. She says if he votes to keep her in,  he’ll have both her and Elissa on his side . He’s also afraid of Amanda. Helen tells him to man up and play his own game. Also she thinks it’s horrible the way Amanda treats him. In the diary room, McCrae rolls his eyes. He thinks Helen is just as pushy and manipulative as Amanda.

Outside McCrae and Amanda have a smoke, and he hints at what Helen’s been telling everyone. That she’s bossy and pushy. Amanda doesn’t think she’s a bully. Is she a bully?” You’re aggressively honest,” says McRae diplomatically.

Elissa and Helen work on GinaMarie, telling her that Amanda is pitting everyone against each other. GM agrees that Andy is a problem, and that they all should put pressure on him not to vote Helen out. To Helen’s face, he admits that he’s “wavering” because he’s afraid she’ll come after him. Helen warns Andy that he has no targets on his back. But if he votes her  out, he will have a ton of targets on his back, including Elissa.

I dunno. Amanda’s got the house so thoroughly under her thumb at this point, I don’t think they’ll dare to cross her.

Back from break, Julie talks to the houseguests. They chat about this week’s competitions. This is the calm before the storm. It’s time to vote. Spenser says hey to his hometown folk in Arkansas. After saying hello to her family and friends. Helen tears up talking about her husband and family. “You guys have given me all such special memories,” she says.

The vote!

McCrae – Helen
Amanda – Helen
Elissa – Spenser
Andy – Helen
Gina Marie – Helen

Helen is out. No surprise. Bunch of wusses. Ah. She is a juror and could re-enter the game!

Julie gives Helen the bad news.  Helen cries and hugs everyone before she leaves.  She knew when Andy wasn’t willing to put up Amanda when he was HoH, she couldn’t trust him. In her interview with Julie, Helen reveals that she thought Judd was more dangerous than Amanda, that’s why she took him out. Amanda wasn’t winning anything, she didn’t feel she was a threat. The conspiracy theories around Judd (that he was the secret MVP) scared people. Of course, none of the theories are true, but the houseguests don’t understand that yet. Helen says she did everything she could to stay. “I went down swinging.”

What Helen would do differently: She would not have not taken out Howard and would have gone after Amanda as soon as she could have.  When Julie reveals to Helen that she may get that second chance, she totally freaks out. “AMAZING,” Helen says, totally spazzing.

Candice, Judd, Helen and Jessie will have the opportunity to compete to get back in the house, but first we visit the jurors in their new digs. When they get the note that they’ll have another chance to enter the house, they’re pretty excited. Judd says he would put up Helen and Amanda. They all agree Amanda should go. Candice would love to get Gina Marie out.

With the jury assembled ready to play, Julie gathers the houseguests in the living room to break the AWESOME news. Elissa is clapping. Amanda looks like she’s going to puke. The jury members enter the house, and there’s a huge reunion. Amanda looks PISSED. She must know she’ll be the target of whomever re-enters the house.

The game will be a twofer, with the jurors fighting to get back in the game, and the houseguests battling to be HoH.

The competition is called “Off The Wall.” The playing field is divided. During the competition, balls will be thrown at each house guest and juror. If the first person to catch 10 balls is a juror, they re-enter the house AND are HoH. If the first person to catch 10 balls is a house guest, they become HoH and the game continues until a juror wins the opportunity to re-enter the house.

If they fall off the little perches they are standing on, they are eliminated. After a few throws, the contestants are pelted with water as they play the game.

…And the game continues as the episode goes off the air. We’ll be putting up a spoiler post later!
