NBC aired the America’s Got Talent 2017 Quarterfinals part 2 episode tonight (August 22) and you know what that means. It’s time to VOTE IN THE POLLS. Which act is your favorite? Which five acts do you think are going home?

Tonight was kind of a trainwreck. Two acts experienced technical difficulties. The problems for the dance crew, Light Balance, hit before they took the stage. The act was able to fall back to their taped dress rehearsal. Escape artist Demian Aditya wasn’t so lucky. His act went haywire mid performance. Both Mel and Simon buzzed him.
Demian’s luck was unfortunate, but won’t carry him through to the next round. Also leaving the competition tomorrow: Brobots & Mandroids (performed first, nothing special), and Mirror Image (these kind of joke acts work well in the UK. Not so much in the US). Evie Clair has a heartbreaking backstory, but she might be in trouble this week. Kid singer Celine Tam, who gave a sweet, but unremarkable performance could also be in trouble. Magician Eric Jones got the cold shoulder from Simon. His magical act was solid. But he also could be heading home.
