UPDATE: Idol down only 5% from last Thursday per the final ratings.
American Idol ratings are in from TVBytheNumbers
Of course Fox won the adults 18-49 ratings on Tuesday night, but American Idol’s 6.1 adults 18-49 rating was down 9% vs. last Thursday (though might recover some of it back in the finale numbers). Bones returned up 3% from its last original with a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating, though that was down 11% from last week’s telecast of Mobbed.
Over 20 million viewers tuned into American Idol last night. CBS had an all-original lineup. NBC was a repeat at 8, an original at 8:30. ABC was in repeats.
It will be interesting to see how this week’s surprise ouster of Pia Toscano affects the ratings.
