Memphis Auditions Begin Sunday

Preliminary auditions for American Idol Season Six are scheduled for the FedEx Forum in Memphis TN this Sunday.  Thousands are already lined up waiting to register.

Here's a bit of info Sarah sent me in an email before she left for Memphis:

[Friend's spouse works for a rental car agency] in Memphis talked to Simon Cowell on the phone about a rental car. Apparently, Simon called to book a rental for a couple days this weekend/next week…didn't know the exact dates, but apparently Simon & Co. WILL be in town immediately following the first round to audition the people who make it through.
