The Voice 7 LIVE Playoffs kicked off tonight with Team Blake and Team Adam! It was the first time the contestants took to the stage in front of a live audience. Kudos to all of them for handling their nerves and stepping up to the plate! There were no trainwrecks or bad performances tonight. That worked out well for the coaches, who were throwing out softball critiques. Good performances made their job easy (there were certainly moments and song choices to criticize, but obviously, a decision was made not to go there.
Tonight’s standout performances for me were alt/rocker Taylor Phelan, pop/indie crooner, Matt Andrews and the young pop/R&B singer, Reagan James. As far as my favorite team, I’d give a slight edge to Team Adam.
