Listen to a cocky Simon Cowell mock American Idol Season 10 Idol winner, Scotty McCreery in this video taken outside of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show Tuesday night.

When TMZ dude asks him to talk in an American accent, Simon drawls, “I love you this big” in an exaggerated Southern accent.

Ha. He’s not laughing so hard this morning.

    He doesn’t even know who won The Voice, but he knows the words to Scotty’s first single. I say it’s actually more of a compliment than a dig.

    I remember when the Idol Auditions first began last year, and someone interviewed Simon for his opinion on the contestants. All he said was that he remembered one young guy with a very deep voice.

    I think Simon has been watching Scotty for a long time!

    I thought it was very funny. I am not going to even say what I think of that song other than Simon did a good country impression. It is also funny seeing Simon blow smoke from his cigarette into the fans. Hysterical.

    I’m no Simon Cowell fan but it’s pretty clear he was just kidding around in response to the TMZ reporter. If he literally starts dissing Scotty well, all people have to do is remind him he championed Lee DeWyze. LOL

    I thought it was funny…typical TMZ :) Even Simon gets a pass at MJ’s as he’s dissing an Idol and not a poster :)

    I feel the need to address the elephant in the room and present the question…what if Simon had championed Crystal? Let’s face it…her numbers and airplay weren’t exactly Adams and I don’t see Casey flying up the charts.

    Simon had to take a dig at Scotty cause he has his battle with idol stuck in his head, and he’s a winner whose “I love you this big” did better than Lee from the season he left.
