Kelly’s single is actually really struggling right now- I thought for sure it would go top 10 on her name alone but now I’m not so sure.

    I actually really like à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Never Againà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . I canà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t wait to hear the rest of the album.

It seems like she uses songwriting to get out the angst from being burned by the men in her pastà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦ Which is great, because it provides some great breakup anthems (hello, à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Since U Been Goneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ , à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Behind These Hazel Eyesà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ , and à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Walk Awayà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ).

Kelly did not write any part of Since U Been Gone.

She was one of 3 writers on Behind These Hazel Eyes

She was one of 4 writers on Walk Away.

She talks about writing so much it seems like she wrote them all but she didn’t. Look them all up on ASCAP. I can’t wait to see how many co-writers there are on Never Again.

I believe in a thing called serendipity…in one of those odd coincidences in life, it appears that Billboard Boxscore has so far reported receipts for 9 (or roughly 20%) of little d’s à ¢’ž ¢ concerts!

According to what I believe was his à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“officialà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ tour schedule, little d à ¢’ž ¢ ended up with something like 44 dates, with 2 in January, 18 in February, 13 in March, and 11 in April.

The capacity à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ meaning tickets available à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ for those 9 concerts was 8,389. According to Billboard Boxscore, 8,369 tickets were sold, or roughly 99% of tickets available; there were 20 unsold tickets for the 02-06-07 performance at Neumo’s in Seattle. If only Michelle Pfeiffer had hopped on a plane, she might have been saved the indignity of not being famous enough to be comped for a performance by little d à ¢’ž ¢ and the Spice Boys!

Anyway, since quite a few of these performances took place in small venues which don’t always report receipts to Boxscore, I cannot estimate the total capacity for all 44 concerts.

Receipts for those 9 concerts were reported as $160,589 which yields an average ticket price of $19.18 for these particular dates, as well as an average of $17,843.22 per date.

Once again, only a mad fool extrapolator would apply that per date average to the remaining, so-far-unreported dates on the tour, given that the size of the venues has not been determined.

My suggestion: wait until Boxscore or PollStar reports total receipts and attendance for little dà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s à ¢’ž ¢ tour.

    Nevada! Thanks for the facts.

Can’t wait to hear Kirsten’s recap of tonight’s concert…as only she can give. And maybe, just maybe, she’ll finally get to meet Percocet. :)

I believe that Kelly said on Regis and Kelly that this is the album she wrote most for. I also heard her say that she and her fellow band memebers wrote this album together. From what she has been credited with writing so far, she is a pretty good writer.

Oh, I’m sorry. Please excuse me for not recognizing that. I happen to know exactly how many writers there are on every song, since I own the cd and am one of the nerds who reads the liner notes from cover to cover. But thanks for the information.

Please take “Since U Been Gone” out of the equation, since she didn’t write it.
