Nicki Minaj insists that things are cool on the American Idol set after she feuded with fellow judge, Mariah Carey. But, in addition to highlighting the battle on her E! Reality show, Nicki has also shared her feelings about the incident in the song “Hell Yeah” from her recent CD Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded the Re-Up.  Check snips of the lyrics from E Online:

“But you’re boring as f–k, though./Why these bitches in the game so cutthroat?/Why they can’t just let young Nicki live?/Why they gotta feel the wrath to know Nicki is?”

“Not playin, boss for real/When they go against the kid it’s gon’ cost for real/Came straight from the hood with the cross appeal/That’s why these big names wanna toss the deal.”

“I’ll take it, sign on the dotted line/But I’m quick to the check a bitch if she outta line. Shout out Mike Darnell and Nigel/Why these bums so mad that the queen on Idol, huh?”

Hm. What do you think? Time to let it go? Do you believe Nicki and Mariah have put the battle behind them? Or do you expect more fireworks when the live shows begin?

It was very clever how she made “line” ryhme with “line.”

Ugh. This woman has zero class.

After a beer or two I could come up with drivel like this. No talent, no class and yet she is a superstar. Thank goodness for DVR, that is the only saving grace for me and Idol this season.

I think if you look past the judges, you will like it. It is about the contestants, first and foremost.

Actually, Gina I have met her… Twice! All I will say about those two meetings is that they turned me from being a lamb into just being a fan of her talent as a singer and songwriter.

Aside from that, this is not the first time Mariah has had trouble getting along with females in the industry and her reputation is far from being one of the best in the industry. Not that Nicki’s is either, but I just do not believe Nicki went off on Mariah for no reason at all.
