Kelly Clarkson announced she was engaged via twetter! She tweeted excitedly on Saturday, “”I’M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)”

Kelly’s fiance, whom she gushes about regularly in interviews, is Brandon Blackstock, son of her manager, Narville Blackstock. Brandon’s step-mom is none other than Reba McEntire, who will be Kelly’s step-mom once the happy couple are wed!

Congrats to Kelly and Brandon. No word yet on a wedding date, but of course, we’ll keep you posted!

Here’s Kelly on a recent episode of Ellen Degeneres Show, talking about how totally in love she is, and that she’s waiting to put a ring on it. She didn’t have to wait too long…

    Oh my gosh…that is one fug-ugly ring.  But then ostentation seems to be the name of the game right now.  What happened to a simple solitaire and a plain wedding band.  Guess its all about proving your love by buying the most expensive, irregardless of taste being an issue.

    She is just the cutest thing! It’s nice to see they are so happy; I think she’s seen enough breakage in her private life that she doesn’t seem likely to jump in without really being sure. Congrats!

     I think he was married and has 2 children. Not in love with the yellow diamond but that is personal taste. he certainly went all out. Hope they are happy.

     Congrats to Kelly.  Judging by the rings Kelly normally wears she likes big jewelry so while the ring might not be something I’d personally wear it looks good on her hand. 

    It’s nice that she’s found love and seems to have found it with someone whom she has a strong bond with.  A bond that obviously didn’t start romantically, which hopefully will lend a good foundations to a lifetime of happiness for them.

    I saw a picture of his ex…i may be nuts but I think she looks like Kelly only older.  Blonde Kelly.  It was in yahoo images on a search on him or his dad.

For the happiness Brandon has brought into Kelly’s life (she has radiated happiness since they’ve gotten together), he deserves her and I couldn’t be happier for Kelly. I wish them the best in their life together, and I’m so grateful for every little bit of good news right now.

    I’ve seen way worse, the shape actually doesn’t look bad on her. But not my style at all, and I’m not into yellow or pink diamonds.

    Congrats to her, glad she found someone who makes her happy.
