100 & Single: Buy An Adam Lambert Album, Strike A Tiny Blow For Gay Rights – One year later, I’d like to invite you to get behind another consumerist message that, in 2012, should be equally uncontroversial: Being openly gay shouldn’t prevent you from having a No. 1 album in the United States. The album we can support to send this message is Adam Lambert’s second major-label disc Trespassing, which arrives in stores on May 15—virtually one year to the day after the successful Bridesmaids opening. – Read more at the Village Voice

Kris Allen Loves Vinyl, ‘Parks & Rec’ And The Civil Wars: Favorites – Kris Allen is one of the most humble, friendly and talented people we’ve ever encountered, making him one of our all-time favorite artists to spend some one-on-one time with. But what about his favorite things? In our latest installment of Favorites, we discovered that the Idol champ has a thing for vinyl, is a huge fan of Parks And Recreation, and absolutely savors the cuisine in both Austin and Portland. When we asked about some more Kris Allen-specific stuff, the “Vision Of Love” singer revealed that his most cherished track on his upcoming sophomore LP (or his “baby” as he calls it) is “Teach Me How Love Goes” — so keep an ear out for that one when Thank You Camellia drops on May 22. – Read more at Idolator

Interview: Ex-‘American Idol’ singer Haley Reinhart ready to Lolla – “The kind of audience I’m speaking to is a very wide range of people,” Reinhart said Thursday during the grand opening of the AT&T Retail Innovation Center in Arlington Heights when asked why she was chosen to be the first “Idol” alum to perform at Lollapalooza. “It could be because (my sound is) sultry, rock, R&B — all of these things combined. ‘Dancing With the Stars’: Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dish on Season 14 – No one is more surprised about making it to the final six competitors than Gilbert herself. “I am kind of shocked, actually,” the “Little House on the Prairie” actress told “Good Morning America” contributor Melissa Rycroft in an interview that aired on the show today. “I tried not to have too many expectations going in to where we would be, so each week has been a surprise, but then having people vote us through when we’ve gotten lower scores has been really validating and amazing, surprising.” – Read more at Dancing with the Stars

Don’t Waste Ad $$$ on ‘Vulgar’ Howard Stern – TMZ obtained a letter — written by the PTC — that was sent to a whopping 91 advertisers and commands them NOT to invest their millions with NBC’s tent-pole talent show … because they feel Howard Stern will corrupt America’s children with his provocative ways. In the letter, PTC cites Stern’s violent and crude language as reasons to boycott the show, quoting his comments on former “American Idol” winner Fantasia Barrino: “Hey Fantasia, you’re not getting little boys hard. Nobody’s beating off to you. Little boys want boners. They want a Britney Spears or a Rihanna.” – Read more at TMZ
