With a New Album and a Top 20 Single, Country Singer Lauren Alaina Is ‘Doin’ Fine’ – You’ve been working on this album for quite some time and put some very personal experiences into it. How does it feel to finally release this music into the world? I wrote over 300 songs probably for the album. I worked so hard on it and I poured every part of me into it. Five years between albums is such a long time, and there were times when I thought this day would never come. Everyone keeps asking me, “How do you feel?” and I can’t even explain it: I’ve never been so excited! I’ve never been so proud of something and other people seem excited which is making me more excited—my heart’s going to explode! I’m so excited for people to be able to listen to it and tell me what they think about it and get their feedback.
