Fantasia, Lea Labelle Perform on The Soul Train Award 2012 (VIDEO)

Two American Idol Season 3 alums, Lea Labelle and Fantasia Barrino, paid tribute to R&B icons on the 2012 Soul Train Awards on Sunday evening.

Leah, is currently working on an album under the tutelage of  producers Pharrell and Jermaine Dupri. She was also the recipient of the Soul Train Centric award.

I cannot stand to hear Fantasia sing live anymore.  She’s very restrained on her albums, but live she’s like Labelle on Steroids.

I like Fantasia, but definitely a boo when she duet with Joshua Ledet on Idol finale.
    YUCKS !

Ah, this reminds me of how diverse AI use to be. I see Fantasia found her class since the AI11 finale, great job! And look at little Leah, fantastic!…she could have done well had she waited to try out for idol…when will the young ones ever learn.

Marcus Canty was good too. There’s a video of him performing in the related section.

Fantasia looked good here, thank god because I swear sometimes. lol
She did good here and it was nice seeing Leah and Marcus Canty also performed. It’s nice to see that he’s getting more exposure.

Fantasia is so amazing. She should play Aretha in a bio about her life.
Hopefully Fantasia has her life together now. At least she looks so much better.

Wow, Leah has really grown as a singer/performer.  A lot better than I remember.

Fantasia is a powerful singer and performer, too bad I can’t enjoy her tone at all. Leah and Marcus were pretty good.
