Demi Lovato – Heart Attack – First Listen (AUDIO)

X Factor judge, Demi Lovato, debuts her NEW single titled “Heart Attack.” Not as infectious as her last single, “Give Your Heart a Break,” but it will do.

What do you think?

Why does this sound like so many other pop songs out there?

I predict I will be hearing this all over my radio soon.  I agree not as good as give your heart a break.  But I am pulling ofr Demi.  I want her to do well.

I also agree that Give Your Heart a Break is better but I still like this.

Next to Kelly Clarkson, nobody abuses photoshop on CD covers as much as Demi. For someone who loves to preach about the importance of “being yourself”, I find it strange that she feels the need to use such an obviously photoshopped picture as a CD cover. The real Demi is pretty:

This is very catchy-should be a hit. I hope it does well; Demi is really talented.

The song itself sounds fine from the snippet I heard, but am I the only one put off by a song called Heart Attack?  I get it and it’s not that I have an issue with them using that as the title or am offended or anything like that, but word association wise it just does not put me in a good place for a light pop song.  Maybe I’m far too literal, but when I hear heart attack I actually think of people dealing with heart disease.  Probably showing my age there.

Have you guys listened to her Unbroken album? I would check that out if I were you.

As a Demi fan, I’m not too crazy about it. I know she usually balances out her album with ballads/acoustic songs, but some of her more recent songs are becoming so manufactured, it’s off-putting. It’s quite a bit different from her old pop-rock days. As a music listener though, I think it suffices as a pop song and it should do well on the pop charts.

I thought that initially, but I suppose the choices are limited.  Heartburn?

Another great song by Demi and will be all over the radio, guaranteed! After all she’s overcome, it’s great to see how well her life is going right now! Keep strong Demi!

I miss Don’t Forget and Catch Me Demi, I’ll still support her but I loved her as a pop/rock girl

It’s ok.  I’ve been to her concert and wasn’t impressed with her live singing (screaming) at all.

I agree that the real Demi is pretty.
