American Idol Finale Spoiler: Joshua Ledet to Duet with Fantasia?

Joshua Ledet may not have made the final, but that does not mean he is not excited to perform in Wednesday’s finale!

He tweeted this yesterday, “You guys are so In for a treat at this finale I’m performing with the most amazing singer in history!”

Many of us speculated that he would be duetting on the Idol finale with one of his favorite singers, Season 3 winner, Fantasia. After all, he admires the singer so much, his nickname is Mantasia.

As it turns out, the speculation may be right! Somebody from Fantasia’s camp tweeted, “Hey family I am back I’m LA with @TasiasWord. We are at rehearsal for the American Idol finale where she & Joshua will Roc… Kisskiss”.

It’s still a rumor, but the pairing of Joshua and Fantasia would not surprise me. After all, Lauren Alaina got to sing with HER personal Idol, Carrie Underwood, at last year’s finale…

    Mary J and Josh is one of those duets that look good on paper, but it would not have worked. Truth be told, Mary is not half the singer Josh is…. Fantasia, Patty La Belle, Aretha and Phil Perry would be much better partners.

    Fantasia is fierce in concert….Her shows all always “jamming room” only. The street cred Josh will get with this duet will serve him infinitely more than Carrie writing for Lauren…
