X Factor UK: Wildcards?!

The first X Factor UK performance show will be 140 minutes long.

Judges’ houses round is probably the most tear-filled part of the X Factor, as 24 or 32 remaining acts are cut to 12 or 16 finalists.

This year, 24 acts remained in the competition after bootcamp, but after one of the groups had to bow out due to visa issues, Louis Walsh invited two previously cut boybands to return. Read the details here.

On Wednesday the timings for the first live show were confirmed (8:00pm-10:20pm). 140 minutes is a lot of time for only 12 acts, so today’s article from The Sun came as no surprise. TOP 12 acts will be revealed on Sunday night (3/category). Each mentor will also have to pick one wildcard (from judges’ houses rejects) The viewers will then get to vote for the 4 wildcards and the winning act will perform with TOP 12 acts next Saturday night.
