Who is going home tonight on So You Think You Can Dance? Sadly, I think it’s Alex Wong.
Alex ruptured his Achilles heel during rehearsal yesterday, and could not dance this week. Nigel says if he’s out next week he’s out for the season.
Considering his injury is pretty serious, there’s a very good chance he’ll be leaving the show. Totally sucks for Alex, who had become the breakout star of Season 7. Oh, the dances that could have been.
That Alex has an automatic spot in the Bottom 3 this week is another hint that he’ll be let go tonight. The producers probably knew yesterday that Alex would be leaving, but are waiting until tonight to make him this week’s eliminated contestant.
Robert Roldan and Adechike Tolbert will round out the Bottom 3.
Hello judges? Viewers don’t care for Robert. Trying to tell us how to feel about him does not help him. If Alex is healthy enough to stay in the competition (and that’s a big if) the judges will send Adechike home, based on their brutal critiques last night.
