Well, this sucks. Top 36 contestant, Jesse Langseth was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
MINNEAPOLIS – Former American Idol contestant Jesse Langseth was arrested just after midnight Friday in south Minneapolis.
Jessica Lee Langseth, 27, was stopped by police near E. 14th St. and Park Ave. because the left brake light of her car was out. She had a warrant for her arrest for driving on a suspended license.
Langseth posted $300 bail and was released from the Hennepin County Jail early Friday morning. A court appearance is scheduled for May 27 in Minneapolis.
Jesse was convicted of drunk driving in August 2007 after she was stopped in St. Louis Park with a blood alcohol content of at least. 0.20 percent. She served four days in jail for the conviction.
Driving while your license is suspended is a pretty stupid move. Since Jesse’s on probation, she could wind up with a jail sentence. So talented. I hope she gets back on the right track.
