Celebrity Apprentice: renewed, but won’t film until spring – Celebrity Apprentice will return for a seventh season, though not until 2014, and it will film later than usual, in the spring instead of fall. ‘American Idol’ Candice Glover to perform Beaufort concert Sept. 14 – “American Idol” and St. Helena Island native Candice Glover will return to Beaufort Sept. 14 for her first hometown concert since winning the national TV contest in May. J.W. Kellie Pickler, ‘The Voice’ winners sing at benefit Charlotte – Hometown girl Kellie Pickler headlined a benefit concert in Charlotte to help raise money to give sick children a chance to share their own voices. Broadway Theatre Project gives students an intensive look at what it takes – With alumni, including American Idol runner-up Katherine McPhee and actor Patrick Wilson, who have performed on Broadway, and guest faculty members who have worked in Sondheim and Fosse musicals, the program is one that helps the participants network and make connections with key people such as Jed Bernstein, Tony Award-winning producer and president of the Lincoln Center. The Lost Promise of Cory Monteith (Exclusive Photos) – He was a 22-year-old unknown in 2005 when he walked into Richard Hawley’s model management agency in Vancouver. “Richard saw him, signed him up and asked me to shoot him,” says Gary Fitzpatrick, an L.A.-based fashion and portrait photographer who also was starting out.
