This news item popped up in a Google alert for Glee star, Dianna Agron. US Weekly is reporting that she quit the show. But that’s not the only reason why I posted this item. I clicked on the video, hosted by some US gossip monger named Ian and there was American Idol’s Bucky Covington, co-hosting the little gossip show.
The American Idol Season 5 alum has an opinion on EVERYTHING from Dianna’s demise, the Housewives of New York to Demi and Britney of X Factor! Bucky is game–all in the name of promoting his new album, The Good Guys. Bucky is surprisingly chatty on the gossip. If the country music thing doesn’t work out, there is always TMZ. Nah. just playing.
Back to Ms Agron, who plays Quinn Fabray on Glee. She’s been mysteriously absent from photo calls (Well, not so mysterious–she’s been in France filming a movie. But that hasn’t stopped entertainment sites from making hay of it) and absent from official cast lists. US is quoting sources who say Dianna has negotiated a permanent exit from the musical comedy:
Sources tell Us Weekly that Glee’s Dianna Agron, 26, has negotiated an early exit from the musical comedy’s fourth season. “Dianna was unhappy and had been trying to get off the show for a while,” says a source. “She and producers came to an agreement where they let her go. That’s what she wanted.”
The actress, whose character graduated and was accepted to Yale last season, will appear in a few episodes before being written off, the source adds.
A show rep tells Us, “This is patently false.” Hm.
