Take That and Labrinth are performing on The X Factor tonight.

Who is going home? Stevi Ritchie, unless he somehow avoids the bottom 2 completely. The judges made it clear last night that his time on the show is up and he knows it, too. He served his purpose. We started out with 16 acts in the live shows and Stevi outlasted 10 (so far). Not bad for a joke act. Joke acts usually leave somewhere between 7th and 5th place, so yeah … Is Stevi destined for a 6th place finish? Also, I think next weekend the TOP 5 will be singing 2 songs each.

Last night the Stereo Kicks boys came up with nicknames for themselves. Check them out below.
Stereo-Kicks

We are starting with another cold open.
Dermot is not losing any time tonight. Cheryl looks fierce in a white.

TOP 6 sing “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting” by Elton John.

The lines are still open and Dermot is repeating the numbers again. It’s time for a long recap.

Our first guest is Labrinth, RnB artist and producer, signed to SYCO. He is one of the few artists at SYCO that wasn’t discovered on a talent show. Simon got him after a bidding war. He is performing his new single “Jealous”.

The phone lines are now closed!

We are back from the commercial break and it’s time for some results! Oh, next week’s theme is Jukebox! The public will get to pick one song out of three choices for every act in the TOP 5.

Safe:
Stereo Kicks
Fleur East
Ben Haenow

Lauren Platt, Andrea Faustini and Stevi Ritchie remain on stage. One of them is safe and the other two are bottom 2. We won’t found out until later. I think Lauren is in the bottom with Stevi and Andrea is safe.

We are going to a commercial break and when we come back, Take That perform.

We are back.

Bob Geldof recorded a video, saying thank you to X Factor and the audience for supporting Band Aid 30.

Take That are performing their new single “These Days”. They started in 1990 as a 5-piece and now they are a trio. Robbie Williams is too busy with his solo career and family life and Jason Orange left the band a few months ago. So Take That is now a trio: Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald. They are not ready for retirement yet.

Take That will be touring next year and their opening act will be Ella Henderson. Great gig for Ella!

We are back from the break, time for more results. The final act definitely returning next week is: LAUREN PLATT.

Bottom 2:
Stevi Ritchie
Andrea Faustini

WHOA. The Italian Diva didn’t get enough votes with a Whitney song?

Andrea Faustini sings “Stop!” by Sam Brown.

Stevi Ritchie sings “This Is The Moment” from musical Jekyll & Hyde.

DECISION:
Mel B sends home Stevi Ritchie.
Cheryl sends home Stevi Ritchie.
Simon sends home Andrea Faustini.
Louis sends home Stevi Ritchie.

Stevi Ritchie is leaving us tonight in 6th place.

Next week: Two songs per contestant, Queen, Ella Henderson, Union J …

‘I never thought I would get this far’: Stevi Ritchie bids X Factor audience an emotional farewell as judges vote him off the show
On the previous two elimination shows, he narrowly escaped the axe as he proved victorious in one nail-biting sing-off after another.

But X Factor’s loveable rogue Stevi Ritchie saw his lucky streak finally come to an end on Sunday, when he was voted off the contest after a showdown with competition favourite Andrea Faustini.

As he learned he was eliminated, Stevi told host Dermot O’Leary: ‘The whole experience for me has been an absolute dream. I never thought I would have got this far, ever.’

‘We’re missing him’: Take That make their debut as a trio on X Factor… two months after Jason Orange’s decision to quit the band
Two months after the shocking news that Jason Orange was departing Take That, the band’s remaining singers have stepped out for their first performance as a trio.

Former X Factor judge Gary Barlow made a return to talent show’s London’s studios with Howard Donald and Mark Owen for a live performance of their track These Days.

And after the audience cheered them through their dance-filled set, they spoke with host Dermot O’Leary, admitting that they were still adjusting to life in the band without Jason.

Why Stevi Ritchie and Only The Young are not still standing. 10 things we learnt from this weekend’s X Factor, by JIM SHELLEY
With its finger on the pulse as ever, Saturday’s episode of the X Factor was devoted to songs by Elton John and Whitney Houston.

‘You must have thought Christmas had come early !’ grinned Simon Cowell to Andrea, ‘the people’s diva.’ That shows you what he knows. The ‘cuddly’ Italian and supposed favourite to win the contest found himself in the bottom two and Sunday’s sing-off. Luckily, he was up against Stevi: a virtual walk-over.

Here are ten other lessons we learned from this weekend’s shows.

Blurred (neck)lines: Cheryl Fernandez-Versini displays cleavage in a plunging trouser suit on X Factor… as Mel B covers up in beige rollneck top and long skirt
With their careers in the pop industry, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B have been known to embrace sexy styles both on and off the stage.

And on Sunday night’s instalment of The X Factor, the singers went for complete opposite ends of the spectrum when it came to showing off their stunning bodies.

Cheryl, 31, stepped out in a white trouser suit, which featured a deeply plunging jacket – and little else underneath.
