SHAMED X Factor tearaway Frankie Cocozza yesterday admitted he had spent six nights wasted on cocaine.

In his first interview since being booted off the show, the 18-year-old also revealed he had bedded seven girls since becoming a contestant.

But he said of his drugs downfall: “I regret it so much. I’m really sorry. I’m not an addict — I’m an idiot.”

The 18-year-old tearaway — axed from the talent show on Tuesday after he boasted about a coke-fuelled romp — admitted he had snorted the Class A drug and “smoked a lot of weed”.

He may be 18-years-old but Gary Barlow has revealed he feels responsible for Frankie Cocozza’s actions whilst he was on the X Factor.

The Take That star – who mentored the teen in the singing competition – has revealed he feels he is to blame for the big-haired wannabe getting kicked off the show.

But Cocozza seems to have moved on from the reality show already after he was pictured arriving at Holborn studios in North London this evening.

After a war of words with fellow X Factor judge Tulisa and giving various contestants a tongue-lashing, it must be a relief for the former Destiny’s Child star to do what she does best, singing.

The 30-year-old, who is releasing a new album, swapped her judges seat for the stage, performing on the Graham Norton Show.

Exclusive: ‘X Factor’ Janet Devlin: ‘It’s been a hard week’
X Factor’s Janet Devlin has said that she has had a “really hard” week preparing for this weekend’s live show.

The 16-year-old struggled with her performance last week, forgetting the words to the Jackson 5’s ‘I Want You Back’.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy this afternoon, Devlin said: “It’s been a lot of hard work. It’s been one of the worst weeks for exhaustion – physical and mental exhaustion. It’s been really hard.”

The singer revealed that she had missed two days of rehearsals due to being unwell, explaining: “It’s two days of no practice really. With all the things happening this week, there is a lot of pressure.”
