Tim Urban, whom you might remember from American Idol season 9, has done Taylor Swift a big favor! He’s written the inevitable break up song she’d be penning after the split with current boy toy, One Direction’s Harry Styles.

It’s really cute. And smart. This video could go viral.

    AI was not good for Tim—it brought out the cheese in him.  This wasnt cheesy–it was sharp and clever and the singing was spot on.  And he looked cool, not cheesy. Good job, Tim!

    Tim is a very talented, cute and charming guy. With this song he wrote..he could be in the good run for Taylor’s next boyfriend. yeah? hehe!

    After Siobhan Magnus, I enjoyed Tim being on American Idol!  It got to the point where even Simon Cowell liked him.  He was really good on the tour and I thought the slide was cool.  There’s nothing better than to see Tim have a hit with this song!  I’m not even sure what the title is.

    …has Tim ever released any original music?

    Yes – there’s an EP from 2010 – “Heart Of Me” – also a single of the same name on youtube…couple other original tunes out there too – very mid to slow tempo – but he ‘does’ do a lot of covers.

    This one he wrote for TS and Harry actually is a “better direction”, IMO – you should excuse the pun. *snerk*

    My daughter met Tim and several other Idols at the hotel restaurant when they were on the tour.  She said he was really nice and down-to-earth.  She told him he’s cuter in person than on TV.  LOL!  She was attending a wedding at the hotel.
