Steven Tyler Thinks The American Idol Feud is BS

When TMZ photographer’s caught up with ex-American Idol judge, Steven Tyler in LA to ask him if he believed the Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey feud was BS, he answered “OF COURSE”.

He also said he ain’t never going back to American Idol.

    Probably plenty.
    I’ll bet there’s a good story how he went from being constructive and helpful early in the auditions rounds of A10 to a stifled puppet, pretty disinterested,  by the end of A11.

    I will admit I had so much hope for Steven’s judging.  He knew people were complaining about him saying “beautiful” all the time, and I wondered why he didn’t try to improve or use other words?  It will be interesting to see if the new judges can do any better.

    I don’t think that Steven was stifled.  He told an interviewer that he was told to be more critical, but he said that he didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.  I don’t think that Steven offered a lot of critical during the audition round of season 10, what he was was funny, and like Kara, edited well.  But, that humor couldn’t carry over to the pressures of the live shows.  

    I think that at the most, Steven was warned to watch his mouth, because the producers didn’t want to have to use a delay in order to bleep out certain words. Steven’s main issue is that he never wanted to be on the show. He only did it to make his bandmates mad, and once he got the position, he was more focused on making his own music.

    Come on, everyone knows Tyler took the Idol job to get Joe Perry pissed, and it worked.   These two have been pulling each others strings forever.  At least that story was interesting, the Diva Drama not so much.   Wonder how often during the day Jlo gets a good laugh out of this mess.
